What is
UV Light?
The
U.S. Government requires
UV lamps
above
cooling
coils for government buildings and uses
UV lamps
to control microbial growth in buildings. Now the average homeowner can
apply the same safety measures in their own living spaces. Considering
the well-reported dangers of mold and bacteria in the home, it just
makes sense to attack these problems at the source. You can, with
ACentral-installed
UV Germicidal Lamp.
For use in home or office
environments
and placed near the coils of your
HVAC unit.
Kills and prevents mold growth and spores on your
systems
air conditioning coils.
The unit provides some of the BEST protection available against
biological contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, spores, algae, and
dust mites. Safe and effective in helping to eliminate airborne
allergens, bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi, and more. Reduces odors by
treating the air/furnace with
UV sterilization
all day.

Why hvac contractors Recover Refrigerants?
In
the 1970's, evidence was found that showed a hole in the Earth's ozone layer had
opened up over the southern hemisphere. Further investigation showed a direct
link to CFC use through the world. This finding led to the "Montreal Protocol"
and eventually to revisions in the Clean Air Act. If you have a scientific or
engineering background. The consequences of venting CFC's into our atmosphere
are already beginning to become very evident as the effects of
ultraviolet rays are showing up throughout the
world, especially in the southern hemisphere. In Tierra del Fuego, at the
southern tip of Chile, cataracts and skin cancers have risen dramatically, along
with auto-immune disorders. Crops are yielding less and livestock are dying.
These results are becoming more widespread as CFC's work themselves into our
stratosphere. If all CFC releases throughout the world were stopped at this very
instant, it will still be approximately 50 years before there is any decrease in
chlorine in the atmosphere. That is why we must do our part now and end such
releases. At this time, the HVAC industry has a
responsibility to recover Freon rather than vent these gases. This may make our
products a little more expensive to buy than before but, compared to the
alternative, this effort will be well worth the end result. It's not only the
right thing to do. It's the law.
